1. Create client requirements
Online editing of documents (no manual up- and downloads required) is only possible with the Fabasoft Folio Client. Please note the following client requirements and settings.

1.1. Fabasoft Folio Client and browser extensions
Please check your client and/or your browser environment for the installation of the components listed below. The list contains the links to the installation sources.

The Fabasoft Folio Client is required for all browsers.
The username is displayed in the ELAK title bar with a context menu. By clicking on this context menu and selecting the entry “Status”, the “Fabasoft folio client” and the “Fabasoft folio client version” settings display the current Folio client status. The up-to-date Folio client version may be downloaded and installed via this page.



The following tables lists the browser extensions required.

1.2. Browser entries
For Internet Explorer, please add https://*.elak.gv.at to the trusted sites. For all other browsers, add this URL to you network settings.

It is not possible for ICT users to log in via networks that are part of the ELAK network. If this applies to you, your organization will have to generate a normal ELAK user account for you. Once this has been accomplished, please ask the person having invited you to the teamroom to modify your teamroom authorization accordingly.
